Panama Football Overview
Panama first entered international competition in 2000, taking part in the NFL Global Junior Championship played in Atlanta and returned to that stage in 2007 with a 14-6 win over France in South Florida.
Panama’s most celebrated player, who represented his country in 2000, is defensive lineman Frank Davis, who played at the University of South Florida and three seasons in the NFL with the Detroit Lions and Cincinnati Bengals.
