France qualified for the IFAF Under-19 World Championship for a second time by winning the silver medal at the 2011 European Championship.After beating Serbia, 35-0, France then defeated Sweden, 21-14, and host Spain, 55-6, to reach the final. France then lost, 24-14, to Austria in the championship game.
France opened the 2009 IFAF Under-19 World Championship with a 78-0 loss to the United States then fell, 24-14, to Sweden. Playing for seventh place, the French enjoyed a 34-6 victory over New Zealand.
